The Rules of Creation
No AI-generated images, music, or animations.
- Your art must be raw. Imperfect. Human.
- For the voices, use distortion, effects, or manual sound manipulation.
Use whatever medium you want.
- Puppets, traditional animation, cutouts, hand-drawn, DIY props, stop-motion, live action, experimental visuals—anything that isn’t automated.
You can create your own characters and narratives.
- Invent. Expand. Build something new inside the world of Viron Art Academy.
- Include at least one character of the Viron cast.
- Your characters and stories should fit the weird, surreal, unpredictable nature of the academy.
Embrace the imperfect.
- It doesn’t have to be polished. It doesn’t have to be "good."
Rough edges are part of the experiment.
Keep it short—maximum 30 seconds.
- This keeps the energy high and gives room for more people to showcase their work.
- Make those 30 seconds count.
Challenge yourself.
- The goal is to break out of your usual way of creating things.
- If you normally animate, try puppetry. If you draw clean, go messy. If you script everything, try improv.
WE DON’T ACCEPT POPULAR REFERENCE STUFF, EVERYTHING HAS TO BE ORIGINAL!
